Major credit to Elias, for recommending Catherine, out now for PS3 and the 360. Just played a bit of it with Grandiamo in the room, and for the first time in a while, video games weren’t embarrassing. The game’s story sort of wonderfully mocks passivity as a character flaw in men, while the puzzle parts have what my screenwriting professor would have called Dramatic Action (as in they express the story indirectly) that makes you chuckle. Always climbing up, we sheep are, because we believe that’s the way to stay alive and to avoid death.
