Kids:
A few hours ago, I landed in Los Angeles, turned on my phone, and confirmed what you already know. Sony Pictures Television is replacing me as showrunner on Community, with two seasoned fellows that I’m sure are quite nice - actually, I have it on good authority they’re quite nice, because…
This certainly looks like a dark timeline.
The phrase “Millennials” has now joined my short list of triggers for auto-ignore. Seriously, whomever coined that term needs to go burn in a fire.
Not to be cynical or anything, but damn does this help him or what.

At least according to what I want to be doing. Obviously, I’m re-blogging and commenting and screen-grabbing far more often. Understand that I want some balance restored in terms of created content, even if it’s 750 words on a movie everyone will have already seen or made plans to see.
AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson:
“You lie awake at night worrying about what is that which will disrupt your business model. Apple iMessage is a classic example. If you’re using iMessage, you’re not using one of our messaging services, right? That’s disruptive to our messaging revenue stream.”
Here’s an idea, instead of laying awake at night waiting for someone to disrupt your business, why not try actually innovating? What a losing mindset.
SMS has been a colossal rip-off forever. That carriers knew this. They knew such a scam couldn’t last forever. Yet they did nothing, sealing their fate.
This also proves that Apple was smart not to tell the carriers about iMessage before they launched it. They would have bitched and moaned and tried to kill it before it ever saw the light of day.
Sure, Verizon has its faults, but dear god, I can’t wait for my next phone and the opportunity to kiss AT&T’s PITY OUR SHITTY SELVES attitude goodbye.
Joss Whedon’s The Avengers has set a new bar in opening to a walloping $200.3 million at the domestic box office, the largest debut ever and kicking of summer 2012 in high style.
The Avengers — marking a major victory for Disney and Marvel Studios — easily dethroned Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, which opened to $169.2 million last summer, then the largest number in history. Overseas, where Avengers opened a week ago, the tentpole has now earned $441.5 million for a stunning worldwide total of $641.8 million.

This needs to stay and not be beaten by the Twi-tards.
